the spiralist

Editorial spreads for the essay "The Spiralist", by Kevin Dann. Three major restrictions were given for this project: Contain the content within 4 spreads, only use 2 typefaces, and absolutely 0 images. All imagery was created using glyphs, lines, and shapes. I was intrigued by the organicness of the subject matter, and so I sought to highlight the rawness of the text as I interpreted it.
